Septembers Outstanding Sisters~a sisterhood built though our battle with Breast Cancer. We have joined together to share our experiences, lives, dealing with chemo effects & how to overcome them. Share our sorrows, happiness, stories and everything else that only we can understand as we are making this journey together. We have a very special bond & wish to share our wonderful story with you. ~A Sister is God's way of proving He doesn't want us to walk alone~

September's Outstanding Sisters

One day I was alone

Just me and my thoughts

And through my search

For knowledge and power

I found a profound

group of women

We shall call SOS

Helping each other

Sisters like you

And sisters like me

We share a bond

Us sisters you see

There is something special

Down deep within

This sisterhood you see

Helps me to believe

When one of us sets astray

Another will strengthen our way

and pray words of praise and hope

With heavens name

This sisterhood, I adore

With it I've become much more

We stand through it all

Standing straight

Together we are strong

Hand and Hand

We try to understand

Listening intently

Filling each other with peace

This sisterhood you see

means so very much to me~

Pic from Sydney Harbour!

As promised here is a memento from my recent "pre-chemo" treat night when my darling husband and I had a lovely night out in Sydney. We stayed at a hotel overlooking Sydney Harbour - this photo was taken at the bottom of the hill from our hotel, on our way to catch a ferry to the city - the Bridge and Opera House are in background. See my big sunhat? It was 37 degree C (not sure what this is in F - but HOT) Had a beautiful night that picked our spirits up a lot.
